Remove – Drill out the two existing rivets with a 3 mm metal drill bit to detach the rod from the holder. Hold the tubes facing down so any metal debris falls out.\u003cbr\u003e2. Position – Slide the new cover lock over the rod with the locking side facing outwards. Only one side locks, so check before fitting.\u003cbr\u003e3. Secure – Slide the rod back in, align the holes and fix it with 2 new rivets using a rivet gun.\u003cbr\u003e4. Check – Make sure all rivets are firmly in place.
